Two longtime NYPD partners on the trail of a stolen, rare, mint-condition baseball card find themselves up against a merciless, memorabilia-obsessed gangster. Jimmy (Bruce Willis) is the veteran detective whose missing collectible is his only hope to pay for his daughter’s upcoming wedding, and Paul (Tracy Morgan) is his “partner-against-crime” whose preoccupation with his wife’s alleged infidelity makes it hard for him to keep his eye on the ball.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning star in this music fueled story of the ground-breaking, all gilr, teenage rock band of the 1970s: The Runaways. The film follows two friends, Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, as they rise from rebellious Southern California kids to rock stars of the now legendary group that paved the way for future generations of girl bands. Joan and Cherie fall under the Svengali-like influence of rock impresario Kim Fowley, played by Michael Shannon, who turns the group into and outrageous success and a family of misfits. With its tough-chick image and raw talent, the band quickly earns a name for itself – and so do its two leads: Joan is the band’s pure rock’n’roll heart, while Cherie, with her Bowie-Bardot looks, is the sex kitten. Written and directed by Floria Sigismondi, the film chronicles Joan and Cherie’s tumultuous relationship on and off state, as the band starts to break out.

Toe to Toe tells the story of the friendship and rivalry between lacrosse mates Tosha and Jesse, two senior girls at a competitive Washington, D.C. prep school. When Jesse and Tosha discover that they’ve both been dating the same boy, the conflict becomes explosive. In 2010 Los Angeles, three good friends have had a string of bad luck with their adult lives: Adam has been dumped by yet another girlfriend and his video game obsessed nephew Jacob lives in his basement; Lou is a party guy who cannot find the party; and Nick has a dead end job and an unfaithful wife named Courtney who controls his every move. When Lou nearly kills himself through carbon monoxide poisoning, Adam and Nick impulsively take him and Jacob to the site of some of their most memorable weekends, the Kodiak Valley Ski Resort which, like them, has fallen upon hard times. After a crazy night of drinking in a hot tub, the men wake up in the year 1986. The group can see each other as their proper age, but when they look at their reflections and to everyone else they appear as they did in 1986. A tragic tale of an Asian youth’s gang life in South East Los Angeles, set during the mid 80’s to the early 90s.

Juwan Chung’s “Baby” captures the crime, violence and drug abuse involved with Asian street gangs. David Huynh does a great job playing the role of “Baby” a motherless, poverty stricken teen who encounters a world of danger while roaming the streets of Monterey Park and Alhambra. You mess with one you mess with the rest is a good way to describe this movie.The cast gives an outstanding performance that brings the movie to life! This is one one of my favorite movies of all time “Baby” is the Asian Boyz in the Hood. An action packed movie not to be missed!
